Rejecting the conventional wisdom that it’s just too complicated and time-consuming to erect new buildings on Nantucket, Atlantic Development purchased a significant parcel of land in the Mid Island area. During a one-year period, working closely with the community, we received permits for 68,000 square feet of retail space. Atlantic Development looks forward to starting construction soon on a major grocery store. As a result of the development of Mid-Island Square, Atlantic Development worked to ensure that the Boys & Girls Club received land to increase the size of its football field.
